In the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 navigation and maps applications in Belarus showed varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed look at each app’s performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Yandex Maps & Navigator experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $9 in the week of May 1 and maintaining a general range between $1 and $5 throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads saw a steady upward trend, starting from 10.9K in late March and reaching 12.4K by the end of June. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 380K to 394K.

Yandex Navi – navigation, maps showed consistent weekly revenue, generally ranging between $3 and $7, with a noticeable peak at $11 in the week of June 12. Downloads varied slightly but showed an upward trend towards the end of the quarter, starting at 6.9K and rising to 7.7K. Active users demonstrated significant growth, increasing from 115K in late March to 171K by the end of June.

Google Maps did not generate any revenue during this period. However, weekly downloads showed a gradual increase, starting at 3.2K in late March and peaking at 4.1K in mid-June. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 184K and 204K throughout the quarter.

Google Earth also saw no revenue during this quarter. Downloads were quite low initially but saw a significant spike to 6.2K in the week of June 19, before dropping back to around 1K. Active users showed a similar trend, peaking at 18.5K in mid-June and stabilizing at around 12K by the end of the quarter.

MAPS.ME: Offline Maps, GPS Nav had a stable revenue trend, generally between $4 and $8. Downloads increased steadily, from 1.3K in late March to 1.8K by the end of June. Active users also showed a positive trend, growing from 6.4K to 7.2K over the same period.
